Wow, this is awesome (and creepy :D). It reminds me of a dream I had a few years ago. I like how you used the texture of the wood to create sort of a rough surface, if that makes any sense. :3

cool dream. i'm jealous. you may be interested to know that the texture is in fact very think paint. the original wood texture is gone. :O

Hehe. :D It was a pretty cool dream--scary at the time, but in retrospect kind of awesome. (The angel in the dream looked almost exactly like that.) And wow, it's amazing that you created that texture with paint!

thick acrylic paint and really stiff brushes are a great combo. it's kinda freaky that i illustrated one of your dreams. maybe it's that collective unconsciousness thing...
