b.i.g. last supper

commission work. 4 feet wide, acrylic.

concept: the client's favorite rap artist, the notorious b.i.g. aka "biggie" supplants jesus in a recreation of leonardo's famous last supper.

this took me sooo long, and i'm not entirely happy with it. but it makes me laugh. i have never painted people before, or on such a large scale. so this was a trip and a half.

doing this painting gave me some insight to the composition that leonardo used. it is flawless. the only reason this looks good is because leonardo painted the layout for me.. in a way. either way i need to work on my painting a lot more.
