black ballpoint and white gelpen on earthbound paper. adjusted colors in photoshop.
this drawing sat for a long time as a half inked sketch. there is hope for unfinished work after all! :D

the automaton developped a sudden dislike for his photographer.

hehehe, i love that only the thumb is smushing her (why'd i assume the photographer was female?) - it shows a deliberate 'ew' factor for the robot. 'ew, greasy little human' *shakes hand to get muck off*

ballpoint is great for detail, i've found. it's the best actually, better than pencil, or even .25mm liquid ink pens. i'm glad you like the perspective. i'm starting to really like bending figures through perspective. thanks!
