guess where i got this idea.
i sketched the cape and the figure on separate pages the same size, then shrunk the guy and combined them in photoshop. don't know about the color. could change it...?

I really thought Spawn,, the cape in the cell wasn't all that for me. now spawns cape.. well that's a cape.. the things alive for crying out loud..

Why'd you do them on seperate pages?? any reason or just doodling.

the cape and the figure are the same size in real life, being drawn on the same size paper and all. i had to guess how it would line up, when shrunk down in photoshop, and draw the cape accordingly. it was the fact that i only had a small sketchbook with me...

i love spawn. have not drawn him to date...

Hmmm. pretty intuitive. what made you do them the same size? Why not just do it in one picture? maybe i can take a guess, you wanted to get the figure to have some details on it?

i love spawn too.. the movie was a bit of a let down on the concept but still pretty cool. Yeah well most of your stuff in original and sick anyway, why copy?

well the cape was actually an afterthought. the figure was all done and i thought hmm... then i flipped the page and drew a cape!
the animated series is dope. watch it. true my stuff is original. but i gotta pay homage to my heroes at some point.

Ah right right, that makes sense... I like it when things turn out that way it kinda adds depth to the piece.

Well I guess we're always influenced by things around us, espcially the things we see growing up huh.

(Will def check out the animated series, I used to read the comics)
