Very nice work.
I can't help but be reminded of a political cartoonist from the 60's and 70's by the name of Ralph Steadman.
He mostly drew particularly nasty images of politicians, most notably Richard Nixon. If you are looking for some satirical inspiration, I'm sure you can find many parallels between the Nixon and Bush administrations.

Don't fret precious I'm here
Step away from the window, go back to sleep.
Safe from pain, and truth, and choice, and other poison devils
See, they don't give a fuck a bout you, like I do
Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums.
I'll be the one to protect you from your enemies and all your demons
I'll be the one to protect you from a will to survive and a voice of reason
I'll be the one to protect you from your enemies and your choices son
They're one in the same, I must isolate you?
Isolate and save you from yourself ?
The imagery is as powerful as the song. When I look at that silloute on the window, it seems like "the pet" is being hanged.
haha thank you! i'm glad you appreciate my use of the book.
i have not done any life drawing, maybe one or two back in school, but i'm self taught. lots of repetition practice and patience. actually most of the people i draw are anatomically fucked but they look good. i suppose it's just a style that i have developed.
